As a property owner, you understand the importance of listing your rentals online. After all, that’s where most people start their search when looking for a new apartment.
The trouble is, you have a lot of competition. Hundreds, and even thousands, of other rentals are listed in the area. So, how do you make sure that your posts stand out?
Here are 3 tips for online marketing for property managers that will ensure your posts get the right attention.
- Add more details
What do you include in a property description? Well, you probably include details about the property itself! That’s a no-brainer, but how detailed are those descriptions?
When describing a large dining area, do you stop at “large dining area”? If you do, you aren’t capturing anyone’s attention. Instead, try something like, “Expansive dining area with enough room to entertain friends and family.” With the second description, potential renters are able to start seeing themselves in your apartment, making them one step closer to giving you a call.
- Include multiple, high-quality pictures
In the digital age, everything is visual. Having quality information about a rental is one thing, but nothing compares to seeing it for yourself.
There’s no doubt that pictures are a must in your listing, but the number and quality of those pictures are important. In general, the more pictures the better, as long as they look professional.
- Add benefits of living in the neighborhood
Don’t forget to mention the benefits of living in the neighborhood too! Is there a recreation center within walking distance? A park? Renters who want to be part of a community will be more likely to check out your property if you make these benefits clear.
